Questions about the live online course
How do the live online classes work? What if my internet drops?
You join live classes on [Zoom/Google Meet] from your laptop. The trainer teaches and hacks live on screen while you follow along in your own lab, and you can ask questions by voice or chat at any time. If your internet drops, just rejoin. Every class is recorded and added to your dashboard within [X] hours, so you never miss a topic.
Why join a live course instead of Udemy or YouTube?
Free and recorded videos are useful for learning topics, but nobody checks your work, answers your doubts the same day or keeps you on schedule. In a live batch, a working security engineer teaches you in real time, reviews your labs, and helps you build a capstone pentest report you can show employers.
What is the course fee? Is EMI available?
We send the full fee structure, EMI plan and any scholarship you qualify for on WhatsApp, usually within 30 minutes (9am–8pm). EMI is available, and the fee is less than most ₹1 lakh+ national programs [CONFIRM].
Do I need an IT or coding background?
No. The course starts from zero, with computer basics, networking and Linux first. If you can use a computer and can give 6–8 hours a week, you can do this. Coding helps later but isn't needed to start.
What laptop and internet do I need?
A laptop with at least 8 GB RAM (Windows, Mac or Linux), a stable internet connection and headphones. We help you set up your lab in the first week.
What are the class timings? Can I manage with college or a job?
Yes. Live classes run on weekday evenings (Mon/Wed/Fri, 8–9:30 PM IST) and there is a weekend batch [CONFIRM], so most students and working professionals manage alongside college or work.
What if I miss a class?
Watch the recording in your dashboard (you keep lifetime access) and post any doubts in the batch WhatsApp group. The trainer or a mentor answers the same day.
Is there a placement guarantee?
No, and be careful with anyone who promises one. We give placement support: a resume and LinkedIn makeover, mock interviews, a capstone portfolio and honest advice on which roles to apply for. Getting the job depends on your skills and effort, and we help you build both.
Which certificate do I get? Does it prepare me for CEH / Security+?
You get a Knoa Labs course completion certificate after you finish the labs and the capstone project. The syllabus covers most topics in CEH and CompTIA Security+ and we give you a certification roadmap, but the official exams and their fees are separate [CONFIRM].
How long is the course?

Is learning ethical hacking legal?
Yes. Ethical hacking is a recognised profession in India and around the world. You only practise on lab machines and targets you have permission to test. Hacking any system without written permission is a crime under India's IT Act, 2000, and we teach you where that line is from day one.
